 Hours of Work: Call-in/ SeasonalÂ

Lifeguard Minimum Qualifications:Â Must be at least 16 years old; must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (or equivalent) or attend employer-provided certification course during the last week of June (tuition paid by Arrowleaf); must be able to swim and perform all rescue techniques required by certification. Preference is given to induvials with experience working in a pool, recreation, or youth-oriented environment and interest in public safety, healthcare, education, or recreation field.Â
Lifeguard Skills & Knowledge: Ability to work flexible, on-call hours, including weekends and holidays; strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure; must pass a background check and complete Arrowleaf onboarding.Â

Lifeguard Special Requirements:Â Must be able to remain in a standing or scanning position for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, perform water rescues, and enter/exit the pool quickly.
Lifeguard job duties include, but are not limited to:
Supervise swimmers to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies.
Enforce pool rules and safety regulations at all times.
Maintain constant surveillance of the pool and surrounding deck areas.
Administer basic first aid and CPR as needed (training provided by employer).
Assist with pool opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, setup, and equipment checks.
Promptly report safety concerns, incidents, or maintenance needs to supervisor.
Participate in regular in-service trainings and safety drills.
Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor at all times.
Salary Range: $13.00 - $15.75 per hour Â
