Fix-It Group is seeking an experienced Benefits Coordinator to support our Director of HR and play a critical role in the administration of employee benefits across multiple brands and states. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing complex benefit programs, and takes pride in delivering exceptional employee support.

Position Details

  • Full-Time-
  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • In-Office Position (Golden, CO)
  • Competitive Pay: $60,000 – $70,000 annually, depending on experience
  • Full Benefits Package

What You'll Do

  • Manage benefit enrollments, terminations, life event changes, and employee benefit updates across multiple companies and states
  • Administer benefits for approximately 700+ employees
  • Maintain and audit employee data across 5–10 benefit and HR platforms
  • Ensure accurate eligibility, deductions, and carrier enrollments
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators
  • Support multiple open enrollment periods throughout the year for various company locations and acquisitions
  • Assist employees with benefit questions and issue resolution
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance
  • Support ACA, COBRA, and compliance-related benefit processes
  • Partner closely with HR, Payroll, and Accounting teams to ensure seamless benefit administration
  • Assist with benefits integration during acquisitions and company growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Benefits Administration experience required
  • Experience managing benefits across multiple states and multiple company locations
  • Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit plans
  • Experience supporting multiple open enrollment cycles annually
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BambooHR, Paylocity, ADP, Workday, or similar HRIS platforms
  • Experience managing multiple benefit administration platforms simultaneously
  • Familiarity with ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and general benefits compliance
  • Experience in a multi-location or rapidly growing organization
  • Experience in the home services, construction, trades, or service industry preferred
