We are currently seeking a Reliability Manager to contribute to our mission in a dynamic startup environment. As a Reliability Manager, you will be responsible for leading the reliability, maintainability, and availability (RMA) effort for the Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services program. Take the #NextLeap with Lunar Outpost and work on the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV), which will carry NASA astronauts farther than they've ever been before on the lunar surface!
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply NASA’s reliability standard (NASA-STD-8729.1A) to the Lunar Terrain Vehicle and supporting systems
- Lead reliability analysis to refine reliability allocations at the component and subsystem level and improve reliability predictions for the system
- Work with integrated product teams and safety and mission assurance to conduct FMECA, maintainability analysis, service life analysis, and other reliability analyses and assessments
- Support the verification and validation of reliability-related requirements through the development of verification objectives, test plans, and test procedures
- Develop and maintain reliability documentation, including analysis, reports, and compliance matrices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering or related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in RMA or a similar field
- Experience developing probabilistic reliability models
- Demonstrated experience with NASA, DoD, or similar reliability standards
- Experience with the systems engineering lifecycle
- Proficiency in reliability analysis software
- Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Software Reliability
- Previous work on Class A NASA missions
- Experience developing materials for and presenting at design reviews
Any offer of employment for this position is conditional upon Lunar Outpost receiving the LTVS SubCLIN 1C Award from NASA. If the contract is not awarded to Lunar Outpost, this offer will be considered null and void, without further obligation to Lunar Outpost.

Compensation level and base salary are competitively structured and thoughtfully determined based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, and the scope of the role.
