Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Unarmed Guard in Golden, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe operations, document activity, and communicate clearly while delivering customer service to team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or public emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access at entrances and vehicle gates by checking identification, managing visitor logs, and directing deliveries and pickups according to location procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols, access activity, and incidents, and communicate operational concerns to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
