Description: Inventory Control Specialist 

Hours: 1st shift - 7:00 AM -3:30 PM - M-F 

Pay Rate - $23.00 - $30.00 Depending on experience

Building - KPSM


In person interviews will be expected and we do not pay for relocation or any travel expenses.



ROLE:

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the inventory accuracy.


  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials and WIP.

· Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to identify and correct variances.

· Maintain inventory accuracy through timely transaction review and reconciliation.

· Support annual physical inventory activities and audit preparation.

· Monitor inventory locations and ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, and stored.

· Issue raw materials to production jobs in accordance with work orders and production schedules.

· Review and validate inventory transactions for accuracy, including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and returns.

· Support kitting activities by ensuring required materials are available and staged for shipping.

· Develop and recommend process enhancements to improve inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency.

· Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality departments to support operational requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Office Suite, Facilities management software. Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Excel (Required)

• Manufacturing 2 years (Required)

• Lean Manufacturing/Warehouse environment 

• ERP system experience Jobboss2 experience a plus

• Raw Materials

• Verbal and written communication skills/Interpersonal relationships

• Attention to detail. 

• 2-5 years inventory management
