Â
As a Wood Truss Loader, your top priority will be to accurately and efficiently load wood trusses for customer deliveries.
Â
Essential Functions:
Â
- Promote and drive safety-first culture, ensuring the safety of employees, drivers, and customers.
- Operating a forklift and larger lift to load wood trusses on trucks and trailers.
- Promote and maintain cleanliness of the loading area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Experience Requirements:
Ability to
- Properly utilize and maintain all personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Read, write and communicate with employees, drivers, and contractors effectively and professionally.
- Operate forklift and other larger type lifts.
- Maintain a dependable attendance record.
- Receive instruction and follow directions, including technical and multi-step instructions.
- Work independently as well as in a team.
- Work safely, remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred attributes
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous forklift and/or other type loading equipment experience
Â
Physical Requirements:
Â
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Routine lifting up to 50 lbs (occasional lifting up to 80 lbs)
- Frequent to occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, climbing, bending and twisting
