JOB DESCRIPTION           

POSITION SUMMARY: 45C1 Blender Opr 0003 - Goodlettsville Case Ready Plant

Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Pay: $21.85/HR

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment to ensure the continuous flow of product throughout the manufacturing process. This position ensures the correct ingredients and supplies are utilized, monitors equipment performance, makes operational adjustments as needed, and supports safe, efficient production while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Operate production machinery to support efficient and continuous product flow.
  • Verify that proper ingredients, materials, and supplies are being used according to production specifications.
  • Monitor equipment performance throughout the production process.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Inspect equipment for proper operation and identify potential mechanical issues.
  • Notify supervisors or maintenance personnel when equipment repairs or maintenance are needed.
  • Maintain accurate production standards while minimizing downtime and waste.
  • Follow established operating procedures, food safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
  • Observe all safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns.
  • Work cooperatively with production, quality assurance, sanitation, and maintenance teams.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to operate production equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to monitor equipment and make operational adjustments as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Must be able and willing to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Must be able and willing to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required.
  • Must be able and willing to work around moving machinery and production equipment.
