Dental Assistant – Full Time | 4-Day Work Week

We’re growing our team and looking for a motivated, dependable, and upbeat Dental Assistant who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in providing excellent patient care.

Schedule

Enjoy a full-time rotating 4-day work week with 32 hours per week.

  • Week 1: Monday – Thursday
  • Week 2: Tuesday – Friday
  • Week 3: Wednesday – Saturday

Saturday availability is required.

Paid weekly every Friday.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced with or interested in learning digital dental technology

Preferred Experience

  • Open Dental experience preferred
  • iTero scanner experience preferred
  • Current X-ray certification required
  • CPR certification preferred/current
  • Previous dental assisting experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
  • Assist doctors during a variety of dental treatments
  • Take diagnostic X-rays and assist with charting and documentation
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental
  • Sterilize and deliver instruments according to OSHA and infection-control standards
  • Maintain and properly operate dental equipment
  • Monitor and maintain dental supply inventory
  • Keep operatories and clinical areas clean, organized, and fully prepared
  • Work collaboratively with the entire dental team
  • Help create an exceptional patient experience from check-in through completion of treatment

Requirements

Education and Training

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
  • Valid X-ray certificate.
  • Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
  • CPR & first aid certificate.

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Reports to: Operations Manager
