Job DetailsJob Location: Loden Vision Centers - Goodlettsville - Goodlettsville, TN 37072Job description: Loden Vision Center is looking for a Full-Time Registered Nurse to work in pre- and post-op for our surgery center in Goodlettsville, TN from 6:30am - 4:30pm. This candidate will support and care for our patients and facilitate their recovery. Our goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality care. Responsibilities Monitor patient’s condition and provide the best possible care and advice Work in pre op, post op, and circulate Assist with cataract surgeries and Ophthalmic procedures Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to Ophthalmologist Collaborate with team members to understand care plan for patient Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, etc.) Provide instant medical care in emergencies Assist surgeons during operations Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families QualificationsSkills Proven experience as a registered nurse In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Patient with excellent problem-solving skills BS or other diploma from a nursing program Valid nursing licenseMedical Specialty: Surgery Physical Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center Ability to commute/relocate: Goodlettsville, TN 37072: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Nursing: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) RN (Required) ACLS Certification (Required) Work Location: In person Hours: 6:30am - 4:30pm
