Position Summary

Paradigm Max Q is seeking a highly experienced F-35 Strategic Basing & Beddown Analyst to support Air Combat Command Strategic Air Basing Office activities related to F-35A beddown planning, strategic basing, force posture analysis, infrastructure assessments, and readiness integration. The position supports enterprise-level decisions affecting future F-35A operational basing solutions across the Air Force.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Basing & Beddown Analysis

  • Serve as the senior SME supporting F-35A strategic basing and beddown initiatives.
  • Conduct analyses of candidate beddown locations supporting emerging aircraft capabilities.
  • Evaluate installation capabilities, mission suitability, infrastructure capacity, and sustainment requirements.
  • Develop recommendations identifying the most effective and cost-efficient basing solutions.

Site Assessments & Infrastructure Evaluation

  • Plan and participate in on-site installation assessments across the Air Force enterprise.
  • Assess airfield infrastructure, facilities, maintenance capacity, logistics capabilities, and mission support resources.
  • Evaluate MILCON requirements and infrastructure investment implications.
  • Document findings and provide assessment reports for ACC leadership review.

Stakeholder Coordination & Enterprise Integration

  • Coordinate with ACC, HAF, SAF, ANGB, MAJCOMs, Wings, JPOs, SPOs, planners, and civil engineers.
  • Support working groups, governance forums, and executive reviews.
  • Facilitate enterprise collaboration supporting strategic basing decisions.

Readiness & Sustainment Analysis

  • Assess impacts of basing decisions on operational readiness and sustainment effectiveness.
  • Analyze maintenance, supply chain, logistics support, training infrastructure, and personnel considerations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks affecting future operational capability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Logistics, Engineering, Planning, Business, Operations Research, Military Studies, or related field.
  • 15+ years supporting DoD strategic planning, basing, logistics, infrastructure planning, force posture analysis, or sustainment activities.
  • Experience conducting complex analytical studies and developing executive recommendations.
  • Ability to support frequent travel and installation site visits.
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 20+ years supporting Air Force, DoD, or Joint planning organizations.
  • Experience supporting F-35A beddown, strategic basing, force posture, installation planning, or MILCON initiatives.
  • Prior ACC, Air Staff, AFIMSC, AFCEC, MAJCOM, JPO, or SPO experience.
  • PMP, CPL, AICP, Lean Six Sigma, or DAWIA certification.

Salary Range (DMV Market)

$100,000 annually – $145,000 annually

Location-Based Compensation

Compensation is determined based on the employee's primary work location, applicable labor market, experience, education, certifications, security clearance, and other job-related factors. Candidates working outside the DMV may receive a different salary range consistent with local market conditions and applicable law.
