We have an excellent opportunity for a 1st Shift Production Team Lead in our Goodyear, AZ, manufacturing facility. In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job responsibilities:

  • Support the coordination and work activities of manufacturing department personnel.
  • Support the supervision in ensuring production commitments are met.
  • Recommend, support, implement, and ensure that safety is paramount in the department's performance.
  • Perform job and safety training activities for all new department personnel.
  • Monitor employee conformance with prescribed safety and quality regulations.
  • Monitor the set-up of materials, equipment, and staff to ensure success.
  • Monitor quality checks to ensure that the product is being produced within specifications.
  • Review daily production schedule and plan work assignments to meet on-time shipping requirements.
  • Lead employees in completing work assignments, ensuring completed product meets quality standards.
  • Follow established materials procedures, and order materials as required to ensure production is completed on time.
  • Ensure quality workmanship during all phases of production.
  • Cross-train associates within department to ensure on-time requirements can be met without loss of efficiency.
  • Report promptly to department Supervisor when delays are expected. May be assigned to fill in for Supervisor when required.
  • Maintain and promote a safe working environment and maintain appropriate housekeeping standards within the department.
  • Seek solutions to resolve compliance issues and/or safety concerns.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Cross-training across the Production departments by assisting in all areas to achieve CIW/TCCI goals.
  • Other tasks assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS -Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, some college preferred, along with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive manufacturing line responsibility.
  •  Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Experience in all job tasks and duties with the assigned department.
  • Ability to read production documents.
  • Ability to identify different parts, products, etc.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as a forklift, electric pallet jack, crane, etc.
  • Basic computer skills are required with a familiarity of Microsoft Office Products.
