Hospice Volunteer

Do you want to give back to your community in a meaningful way? Endeavor Hospice is looking for volunteers to provide support and companionship to our patients.

Possible Responsibilities:

• Completes administrative tasks like general clerical and office duties.
• Provides bereavement services such as mailings and/or grief support calls.
• Provides companionship to patients and families.
• Performs simple household chores for patients and families.
• Run errands.
• Provides music and/or pet services.
• Performs life review.
• Performs flower arrangements and delivery.
• Performs birthday services.
• Sewing and/or quilting services.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Good listening skills, and ability to follow instructions

Volunteers are not paid employees, and do not receive compensation or benefits.
