POSITION TITLE:Â Maintenance Group LeadÂ
REPORTS TO: Supervisor – MaintenanceÂ

SHIFT: Weekend Days - Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
POSITION SUMMARY:Â Coordinate the workflow within the maintenance department of the Distribution Center; Organize & direct tasks of Maintenance Specialists & Maintenance Helpers, and provide support for Maintenance Supervisor as needed; Perform preventative maintenance and repairs in the Distribution Center as needed.Â
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
- Direct work and calls to appropriate personnel for repairs and Preventative Maintenance.Â
- Assist in the training of associates in department procedures.Â
- Monitor associates’ work performance and communicate to Supervisor.Â
- Maintain safe work conditions and safe work practices.Â
- Obtain pricing and ordering of parts for the maintenance department when needed.Â
- Entering new parts and equipment into the inventory system when needed.Â
- Scheduling and entering of Preventative Maintenance tasks into the MVP system when needed.Â
- Generate reports from the MVP maintenance software.Â
- Render preventative maintenance and repairs on conveyor and material handling equipment.Â
- Complete electrical diagnosis and repair.Â
- Provide facility maintenance and repair.Â
- Perform general construction.Â
- Promote and conduct good housekeeping practices includes 5S principlesÂ
- Support production by working in a safe, customer-focused mannerÂ
- Perform other duties as assigned.Â
- As needed, will assume the responsibilities of the Senior Qualified Person for Arc Flash policy.Â
QUALIFICATIONS:Â
- Vocational technical school certificate preferredÂ
- 2 years previous maintenance experience preferredÂ
- Ability to perform basic math skills accuratelyÂ
- Data entry and/or computer keyboard experienceÂ
- Mechanical trade experience preferredÂ
- Programmable Logic Controller experience a plusÂ
- MVP maintenance software a plusÂ
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, & planning skillsÂ
- Strong verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a teamÂ
- Ability to work with and influence senior managementÂ
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environmentÂ
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reportingÂ
- High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook, Internet applications and any CMMS package (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) preferably MVP.Â
- Flexibility to work all days and shifts, including overtime on request/as neededÂ
- Bi-lingual – English/Spanish is a plusÂ
