Job DetailsJob Location: ARLINGTON NORTH PLANT - ARLINGTON, AZ 85322Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: PM SHIFTJob Category: ManagementAs a Night Sanitation Lead, you will oversee and coordinate the sanitation crew to ensure all cleaning and food safety standards are met in compliance with HFF policies and USDA regulations. You will lead by example, ensuring all team members follow proper procedures, safety guidelines, and chemical usage per Safety Data Sheets (SDS). This role is responsible for ensuring all processing equipment, floors, and inedible buckets are properly cleaned, sanitized, inspected, and ready to pass USDA inspection for the next day of operations. You will also serve as the main point of contact between sanitation, maintenance, and management teams.   QualificationsLead Responsibilities Supervise and direct nightly sanitation crew activities Assign daily tasks and ensure completion of all cleaning schedules Train, coach, and support sanitation team members Ensure compliance with USDA, safety, and company sanitation standards Monitor proper use of chemicals and PPE at all times Inspect all equipment and areas prior to sign-off for next day production Communicate equipment issues and sanitation concerns to maintenance and management Maintain documentation and sanitation logs as required Promote a safe, efficient, and team-oriented work environment Responsibilities and Duties Perform all sanitation duties alongside team members Follow and enforce proper protection procedures while cleaning Ensure machinery is cleaned according to USDA standards Oversee disassembly and reassembly of equipment for proper cleaning Verify all areas are clean, sanitized, and inspection-ready Qualifications and Skills Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to follow and enforce directions and policies Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings Time management and ability to meet deadlines Conflict resolution skills Critical thinking and decision-making ability Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred Previous sanitation or janitorial experience required Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Experience in food production, agriculture, or USDA-regulated environments strongly preferred Knowledge of sanitation processes, chemicals, and safety procedures Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 20 lbs or more repeatedly throughout the shift Ability to stand for extended periods of time Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and climbing Ability to work in wet, humid, and varying temperature conditions Must be able to safely handle and oversee use of cleaning chemicals Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift   Benefits and Perks Matching 401k Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Sick Leave Paid Birthday Paid Holidays    Now you don’t have to scramble for opportunities.
