Job Summary

We are seeking an Optometric Assistant to join our team! As an Optometric Assistant, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional patient experience. You will triage in-coming appointments, obtain a relevant medical history, analyze spectacle corrections, perform various ocular imaging and more. You will also be responsible for maintaining an organized, clean work environment at all times. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, and is extremely organized.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and gather medical history and relevant information for their visit
Assist in in-office procedures, including answering phones and making appointments
Maintain a clean, organized workspace at all times
Analyze spectacle corrections
Perform contact lens trainings
Obtaining retinal photographs and OCTs.
Preforming visual field testing

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Familiarity with basic computer programs
Familiarity with Crystal Practice Management (preferred)

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
