Job Description

As a Security Officer - Museum Gallery Patrol in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-tech industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting daily operations. You will monitor assigned areas, document observations, respond to concerns, and provide standout customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies and, when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of industrial buildings, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions such as open doors, damaged fencing, or equipment issues, and report findings through required logs and communication channels.
• Support compliance with site rules by assisting with badge checks, visitor processing, and/or contractor check-in procedures as directed by post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A Guard Card and/or security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
