Forklift Operator (2nd Shift- Freezer) - Inventory Control

Forklift Operators (REACH TRUCK) in Warehouse

Job Requirements:

• Full Time (40 + Hours per week) 2nd shift needed must have Reach Truck experience.
• 6 months of recent Forklift Operator experience within the past 12 months (stand-up reach truck required)
• Good understanding of a WMS
• 1 year warehouse experience required
• Must be a reliable team player
• Must be able to work 1pm - 9:30pm

Job Expectations:

• Attendance - must be punctual and reliable
• Ability to become certified on warehouse electrical equipment, ie. forklift, electric pallet jack / runner
• Commitment to MLCo safety policies, procedures and ability to promote awareness.
• Able to meet minimum efficiency productivity levels able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast-paced environment
• Use of the MX7 Scanning Device to pick and receive product
• Accurately use forklift, electric pallet runner to the job
• Attend all company meetings
• Other duties may be assigned, ie. Shrink wrap product on loading dock and learn to accurately build pallets from bottom up with high quality structure
• Ability to work independently of Direct Supervision
• Able to work OT and Holidays (when needed)
• Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner
• All training provided by MLCo

Physical Requirements:

• Requires to work in a Cooler/Freezer.
• Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend for 8 hours
• Requires lifting, 5-50lbs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Pass our equipment assessment using a Reach Truck at time of interview.
• Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screening, Background Check, Physical Abilities Test).

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or Equivalent
• 1 year warehouse experience required
• electric pallet runner preferred
• 6 month's + experience operating a reach forklift required!
