Your Mission:


Performs basic beveling, grinding, and material preparation tasks under close supervision while learning shop processes, safety standards, and equipment operation. 

 


 Explore the Depth of the Role:

  •  Assist with beveling operations using hand grinders and basic tools
  • Clean and prepare materials for cutting and welding 
  • Support layout work under supervision 
  • Maintain clean and organized work area 
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies 
  • Assist in equipment setup and material handling 
  • Complete assigned tasks with guidance from senior team members 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Requirements


Mission Readiness:

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • 0–2 years of manufacturing, welding, or related experience preferred 
  • Basic ability to read measuring tools (tape measures, calipers) 
  • Familiar with blueprint readings 
  • Willingness to learn GD&T concepts 
  • Basic math skills 
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions 
  • Ability to work safely in a team environment 


Travel Requirements:

  • Between facilities as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly. 
  • May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.
