JOB SUMMARY:
The General Warehouse team member is responsible for providing operational excellence for Sunland Logistics Solutions, Inc. by maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work area.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safety, Sanitation, Security – Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Sweeping, mopping, detail work (cleaning underneath and wiping equipment)
- Handling damaged goods, cleaning supplies, gathering wrap and cardboard.
- Use of floor scrubber.
- Utilizing other equipment to navigate around the warehouse to gather garbage and recyclables.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes Safety. Comply with OSHA, EPA and MSDS Standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack and other MHE that is required.
• Respond promptly and professionally to Sunland and/or customer needs.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Balances team and individual responsibilities.
• Consistently at work and on time.
• Able to work day, afternoon shifts.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year or more related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.

Candidates must pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen and road test administered by the Sunland.
