Hop Shops, a division of Valor Oil, is looking for an Assistant Store Manager. Pay – $16.25

Schedule – 1st shift during training, then varies

Location – Goshen, KY

Start date – Immediate

Responsibilities:

Team Support & Leadership:

Assist in recruiting, training, and developing team members.
Support daily operations.
Coach and mentor team members.
Step in for the Store Manager when needed.

Store Operations:

Support in inventory management, cash handling, and store maintenance.
Assist in ensuring the store remains clean, well-organized, and meets all safety standards.
Ensure proper execution of store policies and procedures.

Customer Service & Community Engagement:

Provide exceptional customer service.
Build and maintain strong relationships.
Assist with community engagement initiatives and outreach efforts.

Safety & Security:

Help ensure the safety of team members, customers, and store property.
Assist with implementing security protocols and conducting regular safety checks to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements

Retail experience, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
High school diploma required; further education or relevant experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude.
