Reporting to the Operations Manager (remote), this role owns production execution, team leadership, scheduling, inventory coordination, and customer service outcomes. This leader ensures safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently met while proactively planning materials, prioritizing work, and removing roadblocks so the plant runs smoothly. Success in this role comes from strong people leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to balance daily execution with continuous improvement.   Job Details Operations & Production Leadership Lead daily plant operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets Supervise and support 20+ associates; clearly define roles, expectations, and priorities Plan and prioritize daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer demand Coordinate staffing, overtime, and workflow to maximize efficiency Serve as the primary on-site decision maker and point of contact for plant performance Planning, Scheduling & Materials Develop production plans aligned with sales forecasts and service objectives Order and manage internal materials to ensure uninterrupted production Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory control processes Coordinate closely with Inside Sales, Manufacturing, and Shipping/Receiving Execute daily reporting and analysis within Excel and the MRP/ERP system Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement Maintain a safe work environment and ensure OSHA and company compliance Enforce company policies consistently and fairly Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions Support lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives Identify process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and accuracy Team & Administrative Management Approve timekeeping, payroll adjustments, and overtime Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture Partner with HR and leadership on employee engagement and development QualificationsRequirements 3+ years of manufacturing supervision or operations leadership experience Experience leading frontline production teams in a fast-paced environment Strong planning, scheduling, and inventory management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required) and MRP/ERP systems Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to balance tactical execution with big-picture priorities Ability to work flexible hours or weekends as needed Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience   Why You’ll Love Working Here Competitive compensation – Salary rates that meet or exceed local market standards Health coverage (medical, dental & vision) – Comprehensive benefits available from day one 401(k) – Employee contributions begin day one; company match eligibility after 6 months Paid time off – Available immediately Discounted gym memberships – Supporting your health and vitality Sabbatical program – Salaried employees are eligible for a 10-week sabbatical after five years Community engagement – Paid time to give back and support the communities where we live and work
