Position Overview

The Float Bank Branch Teller is a versatile team member who performs both Teller and New Accounts Representative responsibilities. This role provides coverage across our branches in Middlebury, Goshen, Elkhart, and South Bend, ensuring seamless customer service wherever support is needed.


What You’ll Do

  • Deliver outstanding, friendly service to customers during every interaction
  • Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Assist customers with opening and maintaining deposit accounts
  • Educate customers on bank products, services, and digital tools
  • Utilize banking systems and technology to meet customer needs
  • Balance cash drawers and maintain accuracy in all transactions
  • Follow all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent branch operations
  • Adapt to different branch locations and team environments as needed


What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between branch locations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with advance notice
  • Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance history

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous banking, cash handling, or retail/customer service experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and transport coin bags weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday
