POSITION INFO:
The role focuses on maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, requiring strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The candidate must troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe operations.
2nd Shift Hours: 3:00p - 11:30p.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists
- Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information
- Perform welding, fabrication and other duties as assigned by department manager
- Collaborate with other workers to repair or inspect machines, machine parts, and equipment.
- Supports and perform all preventative maintenance programs
- Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
- Communicate clearly and professionally to supervisors, associates, engineering support and contractors
- Takes initiative to identify potential electrical problems and implement preventative measures
- Adheres to all safety procedures to maintain and uphold a safe working environment
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment
- Strong initiative to complete larger projects with teammates and outside contractor
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Preferred experience in plastic injection molding. Candidates must be proficient in the use of all fabrication equipment such as brake, shear, lathe, drill press, Bridgeport mill, mig/tig/arc welders, Oxy-acetylene cutting and welding, plasma cutting, etc.
Proficiency in understanding, installing, and maintaining electrical systems including wiring, circuits, breakers, and transformers.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required
2-year technical school required or equitable certifications

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely
Comfortable working at heights when necessary
