You will be based on the west coast of Sweden for a longterm, full-time assignment with our client.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for a Junior Interior Component Designer to design and develop high-quality interior components for next-generation vehicles. The role sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and user experience: translating design intent into detailed, production-ready solutions that are tactile, visually refined, and feasible to manufacture.

You will:• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent junior experience with a strong portfolio)

• Capacity to deliver production-ready automotive interior component designs

• Strong sketching and visualization skills

• Proficiency in 3D modeling and visualization tools (Alias, Blender, Photoshop, VRED)

• Understanding of ergonomics, materials, and manufacturing processes

• Ability to balance aesthetics, function, and feasibility

• Effective communication in cross-functional teams

• Available for on-site work on the west coast of Sweden, longterm full-time

Detail-oriented designer with a passion for high-quality, user-focused components. Strong sense of form, proportion, and tactile quality. Collaborative and proactive across disciplines. Curious about new materials and design approaches. Comfortable with occasional international travel.
