Fox Motors has an Office Assistant opening in Greenville, MI at Fox Powersports Nelsons. You would contribute to our overall vision, "Working together moving people throughout life," by providing support to the office manager and dealership teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Office Assistant is a team player that compiles and maintains records of the business transactions and office activities of the dealership. As Office Assistant, you are responsible for preparing a variety of accounting statements and reports for the management team. This is an entry level position and great way to start your career in accounting or finance.

Key responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.

  • Prepares and sends out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements, and checks.
  • Records orders for merchandise, supplies, or service.
  • Receives, counts, and pays out cash.
  • Computes wages, taxes, premiums, commissions, and payments.
  • Provides backup support for any accounting or service clerical position on an as-needed basis.
  • Handles special accounting projects as instructed by the office manager.
  • Maintains office equipment (i.e., copiers, printers, fax machines, etc.). Trains dealership personnel in its use and troubleshoots problems.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft systems.
