Clinic Medical Assistant - Float

Reports to:  Clinic Practice Director

Description: The Clinic Medical Assistant Float works under broad supervision to assist medical providers with patient care, including vitals, medications, completes patient history information during medical visit. MA Assists in general office process, and acts as back up to receptionist as needed. Clinic Medical Assistant provides phlebotomy services; completes diagnostic requisition forms and assists in scheduling diagnostic tests. Coverage includes clinics in Granby, Winter Park, Kremmling, Grand Lake, CO

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years’ experience in clinical setting and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Medical Assistant or CNA experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Pass and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to accurately take vital signs

Compensation: $21.00 - $35.63 DOE + $2.00 Float differential per hour. Full-time permanent will receive $2000 sign-on as well as be eligible for $350/month Housing Stipend for residents of Grand, Summit or Jackson counties.

SHIFTS:   8 hour Days - Mon-Fri with rotating Saturdays
