Working Environment: Member private residences and ranch exposure 

  

OBJECTIVE: 

The Housekeeper is responsible for the housekeeping of member homes, all public areas used for member events, and the member tack rooms. All work is performed to standards of quality as required by the homeowners and communicated by the MS Property Manager. A successful MSH will be flexible and diverse in nature, working with initiative, common sense, and momentum. The expectation for all Members Services personnel is to be responsive to all Members and their guests, Vendors, Contractors, and Team Members.   


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Clean members' tack rooms daily.
  • Cleans housekeeping tools, replenishes cleaners as needed at the end of the day. 
  • The cleaning of member homes and additional ranch areas as needed.?? 
  • Assist with after-event clean up as needed. 
  • Maintain vacuums and humidifiers. 
  • Window cleaning.
  • Carpet cleaning. 
  • Assist with the laundry.
  • Mending. 
  • Occasional Ironing and Polishing.
  • Genuinely always smile when members or guests are around. 

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Performs all related duties as assigned. 


Requirements

KEY COMPETENCIES:  

  • Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively with Members, guests, colleagues, and management. They must be able to listen actively, speak clearly, and write concisely.  
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality: Must be friendly, approachable, and have a positive attitude.  

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT  

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.  
  • Proven working experience as a housekeeper.  
  • Knowledge of housekeeping operations and best practices.  
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their hazards.  
  • Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written).  
  • Excellent customer service and people skills.  
  • Strong work ethic: Must be reliable, punctual, and dedicated. Must go above and beyond to ensure that Members and their guests have an enjoyable stay.  
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. They should be able to anticipate Member needs and provide personalized service.  
  • Think critically and creatively to solve problems. They must handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.  
  • Always maintain high ethical standards and professionalism. They should represent the Ranch and the brand with integrity and dedication both on and off duty.  
  • Ability to work independently with remote supervision.  
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, guests, Members, and the public.  
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s auto insurance carrier.  

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Team members are regularly required to talk and listen. Frequently required to sit, stand, use hands, type, and handle, or make use of the sense of touch.  
  • The employee is required to walk on uneven terrain, reach with hands, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.  
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.  
  • Ability to drive/operate vehicles/equipment on varying terrain with varying conditions, including snow, mud, and ice.  
  • Must be able to work with eco-lab chemicals. 
  • Must be able to work with bleach and other cleaning agents. 
  • Must be able to work around hazardous conditions such as bodily fluids.
