Steinhafels is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to oversee the backroom and display team. This position has the overall responsibility for managing the backroom team, store maintenance, tagging and overseeing the design and space planning of all visual displays.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties for the Operations Manager Include: 

  • All management duties related to backroom and display team including, but not limited to hiring, performance reviews and scheduling.
  • Overseeing making tags and correcting tag errors
  • Overseeing all aspects of the clearance center and store maintenance
  • Attend all required managers meetings
  • Accurate completion of all necessary paperwork
  • Lead the team in moving and arranging furniture to create showroom displays
  • Coordinate and design furniture groupings for the store floor
  • Space planning and product organization on the store floor
  • Assist with special events as needed
  • Oversee all transfers and reporting
  • Verify all incoming and outgoing merchandise and assist shuttle driver in loading/unloading
  • Oversee customer merchandise pick-ups

Qualifications

Position Requirements for the Operations Manager:

  • Requires the ability to motivate, communicate and train employees
  • Must be able to complete required reports on time as assigned
  • Requires good organizational skills
  • Position requires regular weekend availability
