Job Description


We are looking for a patient-focused dental hygienist to join our private group practice alongside Dr. Jacci Belter. Ideally, this is a full-time position working Monday- Thursday, though we would consider part-time roles as well. If you are someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional care, thrives in a collaborative setting, and is eager to help patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health, we think you will be a great fit for our office!


Duties

  • Provide preventive dental care, including prophys, examining patients for signs of oral diseases, and taking X-rays.
  • Perform periodontal treatments, including scaling and root planing.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate in creating and maintaining treatment plans for patients.
  • Keep detailed, accurate patient records and notes and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies to continually improve patient care.
  • Ensure proper infection control procedures are followed.
  • Establish trust and form positive relationships to ensure patients feel at ease.

Skills

  • Valid dental hygienist license in Wisconsin (required).
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient care.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Comfortable with digital dental technologies, including X-ray systems and electronic medical records.
  • Knowledge of Open Dental Software is a plus!
