This role involves providing recommendations on product selection, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Treat Specialist plays a key role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective teamwork and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and offering recommendations on treat selections. - Prepare and present food items in an appealing and hygienic manner, adhering to company standards and health regulations. - Handle sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and using point-of-sale systems. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment. - Demonstrate flexibility in working various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs. - Engage in continuous learning and development through on-the-job training and by staying informed about new products and promotions. QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: - Prior retail or customer service experience - On-the-job training Required Experience: - Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash handling - Flexibility to work a variety of shifts Preferred Experience: - Experience in a customer service or food service role - A passion for food and a genuine desire to create positive experiences for customers Required Skills and Abilities: - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds - Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, and potentially allergenic ingredients - Capable of bending, stooping, and reaching to perform various tasks
