What You'll Do

As a Production Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading your team to safely deliver quality products while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

Lead Your Team

  • Coach, develop, and support production team members to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment built on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide clear direction, remove obstacles, and help your team succeed each day.

Drive Quality

  • Ensure standardized work instructions and in-station process controls are consistently followed.
  • Monitor production quality, investigate abnormalities, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Ensure documentation, quality records, and work instructions remain accurate and up to date.

Support Operational Excellence

  • Lead job rotations to promote standardized work, cross-training, and ergonomic safety.
  • Develop team capability through training and coaching on processes and quality expectations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of standardized work changes.

Know the Process

  • Develop a strong understanding of the manufacturing processes and equipment within your assigned production cells.
  • Support efficient equipment setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operations.

Champion Safety

  • Create and maintain a safe work environment for every team member.
  • Participate in safety audits, ergonomic assessments, training, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Reinforce safe work practices and proactively address safety concerns.

Deliver Results

  • Lead daily production activities to achieve customer delivery requirements.
  • Monitor production performance, communicate results, and identify opportunities to improve throughput and efficiency.
  • Support your team by responding to production, quality, material, and staffing needs throughout the shift.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably one that embraces Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
  • Leadership experience through formal supervision or informal leadership roles such as Team Lead, Group Leader, Shift Lead, Cell Leader, Project Leader, Military Leadership, or similar positions.
  • Relevant experience gained through internships, co-ops, military service, or full-time employment is valued.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and develop others.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work second shift (Monday-Friday, 2:50 p.m.-10:50 p.m.).
