At RoadBuilders Machinery & Supply, we’re more than just a heavy-equipment dealership — we’re a second-generation, family-owned business with over 40 years of history and a strong commitment to excellence.  We are currently seeking full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.  If you’ve got the mechanical know-how, a passion for problem solving, and want to be part of a team that treats you like family — we’d love to hear from you!  Primary Job Duties*:  Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a variety of equipment   Diagnose issues using the latest tools and apply independent judgement to solve complex problems  Accurately document services provided, including time and parts/materials used  Meet time guidelines and maintain efficiency levels   Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every piece of equipment is ready to perform safely and effectively  Benefits:  Competitive pay   Paid Time Off  8 Paid Holidays   Medical (and FSA plans), Dental, Vision Insurances  Company-paid Basic Life Insurance   Supplemental Term Life Insurance   Short and Long-Term Disability  401k with company match   Annual Tool Reimbursement  Safety Glasses and Boot reimbursement    In-house and OEM Training  Candidate Must Haves:  3+ years of hands-on experience as a technician repairing and maintaining construction equipment (aerial equipment experience a plus)  Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems with the ability to read schematics/diagrams  Proficiency with diagnostic tools and advanced repair techniques  A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision and demonstrates teamwork in a collaborative shop environment  Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset  Ownership of appropriate tools for the trade  Valid driver’s license, high school diploma (or equivalent), and ability to pass background, drug, and MVR checks  Able to read, write, and communicate in English  Able to carry and lift up to 60lbs  Occasional travel for training; overnight stays may be required  Who We Are:  RoadBuilders Machinery & Supply, founded in 1985, is a second-generation family-owned heavy equipment dealership with locations in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri.
