Job DetailsJob Location: Distribution Center Location - Grand Island, NE 68803Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayResponsible for supporting various functions in the company’s Distribution Center. role in a warehouse environment.  Will assist with unloading and loading product, picking, and packing, with the goal to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.  Position will also serve as a back-up inter-store driver.  This position is Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm. Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities WAREHOUSE: Utilize stand-up forklift to move product around the Distribution Center. Load and wrap pallets for shipment with various carriers. Ensure that shelves are kept at proper stocking levels and are in and orderly condition. Pull merchandise for customer orders and properly prepare for delivery. Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization. DELIVERY: Safely load, deliver, and unload deliveries to other Eakes locations. Ensure all supply deliveries are completed correctly, courteously, and efficiently. MAINTENANCE: Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment. Perform general interior and exterior building maintenance as needed. OTHER DUTIES AS MAY BE ASSIGNEDQualifications High school education or equivalent desirable     Delivery/Warehouse experience preferred Must be able to learn how to operate a stand-up forklift Must be able to pass DOT physical Other Good verbal and written communication skills Good customer relation skills Accuracy skills Good mechanical aptitude Valid driver's license and good driving record Ability to drive vans/straight trucks and manual transmission Ability to lift 70 pounds repeatedly, 100 pounds occasionally during the workday Ability to lift heavier objects with cart and/or assistance Ability to load/unload merchandise onto vans/trucks
