Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department. This position assists with recruiting, onboarding, team member documentation, HR system updates, personnel action processing, benefits support, compliance tracking, and general HR department functions. The Human Resources Coordinator plays an important role in maintaining accurate records, supporting HR processes, and providing timely assistance to team members, managers, and HR team members.

Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department in the day-to-day administration of HR programs, processes, and procedures.
- Assists with recruiting-related activities, including posting positions, reviewing candidate information, scheduling interviews, and supporting applicant tracking processes.
- Supports onboarding activities to help ensure a positive and organized new team member experience.
- Assists with new hire documentation, onboarding forms, and required employment paperwork.
- Processes, tracks, and follows up on Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) and other HR-related documentation.
- Enters, updates, and maintains accurate team member information in HR systems, including UKG and other applicable systems.
- Assists with iCIMS processes, candidate updates, requisition support, and recruiting documentation as needed.
- Follows up with managers and locations regarding missing, incomplete, or incorrect HR documentation.
- Maintains team member files and HR records in accordance with company procedures and confidentiality requirements.
- Assists with benefits-related questions, documentation, enrollment support, and routing team members to the appropriate HR resource when needed.
- Supports leave of absence, workers’ compensation, and accommodation processes through administrative tracking and documentation, as directed.
- Assists with employment verifications, wage verifications, and other HR-related requests.
- Supports compliance-related tracking, including required training, documentation, E-Verify, and other HR compliance processes.
- Assists with preparing reports, spreadsheets, communications, and other HR materials as needed.
- Provides support for internal HR communications and helps distribute information to managers, locations, and team members.
- Maintains confidentiality and ensures sensitive information is handled discreetly and appropriately.
- Provides friendly and competent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Displays honest, trustworthy, and ethical behavior when dealing with team members, managers, vendors, and other business partners.
- Displays enthusiasm and promotes a friendly group working environment.
- Regular attendance that is punctual and dependable is required.
Additional Job Duties
- Assists with other HR-related duties, projects, and initiatives as assigned by the Director of Human Resources or designee.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- One to three years of office, administrative, or human resources experience preferred.
- Previous experience working with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, or payroll/HCM systems preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills required, including Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with UKG, iCIMS, or other HR-related systems preferred.
- Ability to follow established processes and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with other team members.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
- Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
