POSTION SUMMARY

This person is responsible for overseeing the procurement, storing, receiving, and distribution of material and supplies to the production facility. In addition, this person controls the flow of materials and equipment, tracks and analyzes inventory maintenance, and develops protocols for loss mitigation. 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

•    Maintaining daily records for invoices and shipments. 

•    Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained. 

•    Examine levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages. 

•    Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish material and supply shortages. 

•    Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels. 

•    Evaluating new inventory and ensuring readiness to deliver. 

•    Performing cycle counts on inventory. 

•    Assist in preparation of physical inventory. 

•    Assume responsibility for ensuring the duties of this position are performed in a safe and efficient manner. 

•    Perform additional duties as assigned by the Inventory Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

•    Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.

•    High School Diploma or GED required.

•    Adequate work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

PREFERRED SKILLS

•    Problem-solving skills to anticipate problems before they arise and react appropriately when they do.

•    Ability to effectively multitask.

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel. 

•    Critical thinking skills to manage multiple moving parts, people, and orders. 

•    Superior attention to detail and follow up. 

•    Ability to work well with others, be organized and detail-oriented. 

ADDITIONAL NOTES

•    Pre-employment drug testing required. 

•    Must be authorized to live and work in the U.S.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

•    Competitive base pay plus bonus.

•    First of the month following 30 days of employment, employee is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and 401(k).
