Equipment Operator – Night Shift

Location: Kremmling, CO
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (12-Hour Shifts)
Pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour (DOE)

JENNMAR Services is currently hiring an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team in Kremmling, Colorado. This is a skilled position responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy construction equipment in support of paving, grading, excavation, and aggregate operations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment, including loaders, backhoes, track hoes, and other construction equipment.
  • Ensure excavations have safe slopes and proper barricading.
  • Locate underground utilities and buried lines before excavation begins.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and minor maintenance; report major repairs to the supervisor.
  • Follow trenching and shoring safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate time and material records.
  • Understand aggregate sizes, classifications, and material specifications.
  • Verify load weight requirements for materials leaving the pit.
  • Travel between interstate highways, rural roads, and various job sites.
  • Assist labor crews with pipe installation, utility work, road construction, asphalt paving, and other construction tasks as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of full-time experience operating a loader.
  • Experience operating additional heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to safely perform work in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • MSHA Certification is preferred; training will be provided for qualified candidates if needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently bend, twist, climb, and kneel.
  • Lift and carry up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely perform physical tasks during 12-hour shifts.
