Job DetailsJob Location: Grand Junction Main - Grand Junction, CO 81504Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Graduate DegreeSalary Range: $103.85 - $126.85 SalaryTravel Percentage: NegligibleJob Shift: DayJob Summary: PrimeHealth+ is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our team delivering comprehensive medical care across the full lifespan from newborns to geriatric patients. The Role You'll provide primary and preventive care in our outpatient clinics, convenience care settings, and community outreach locations. This position emphasizes a team-based, integrated care model that includes behavioral health and dental services. Key responsibilities: · Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions across all age groups · Handle complex cases while supporting NP and PA staff with supervision and mentorship · Order and interpret screening and diagnostic tests · Coordinate referrals and consultations as needed · Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for triage services · Contribute to peer review, quality improvement, and HRSA compliance initiatives · Teach and mentor students and healthcare personnel rotating through our sites This position does not include routine OB services, though physicians with appropriate privileging may provide prenatal care with or without labor and delivery. QualificationsRequired Education/Experience: • M.D. or D.O. degree required • Board Certification in a primary care field is required to be current and maintained ongoing, including timely completion of re-certification when indicated. • Two years of post-residency clinic experience is preferred. • Holds and maintains without restrictions a Colorado physician license and DEA license. • Life Support certification (BLS at minimum). • Eligible for privileging at local hospital(s). • Must meet and maintain credentialing and privileging requirements of MarillacHealth.
