Job Description:

General Information: This position is a part of the Specialty Products Division and reports to the Superintendent at the blend plant. This is an hourly, full time, non-exempt position.

Background: This position is a developmental position within Specialty Products and a functional part of the production team at the blend facility. Qualified candidates must be energetic, highly motivated & self directed. Candidates must bring a can-do approach. Must be dedicated, flexible, organized and detail oriented with strong multi-task skills. Must be computer literate.

Key Functions: Participate with the Superintendent in all daily activities. Typical duties will consist of participation in the production of daily orders. Packaging and labeling of the finished product. Palletizing and preparing all orders for shipment. Calling to schedule a pickup with the trucking companies. Cleaning the plant at the end of the day; as well as, other duties as directed. There will be also be customer assistance as necessary.

Requirements: Candidate must be goal oriented, a self-starter and good communicator. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization. Candidate must also possess good math skills and be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively. Candidate must also demonstrate a sincere interest and desire to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
