Lead Maintenance Technician

Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Position: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Lead Maintenance Supervisor oversees all maintenance operations for the apartment community, ensuring the property is safe, clean, and well-maintained. This role supervises the maintenance team, completes repairs, manages apartment make-readies, and delivers excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train maintenance staff.
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs.
• Complete work orders and oversee apartment turns.
• Coordinate vendors and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct property inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergencies.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification required (EPA Certification required).
• 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
