Job Description:
Trinity Alliance is looking for a talented cost control project manager that has a personal and professional interest in executing
cost control on large construction projects. This individual will report to the Director of Project Controls and be responsible
for implementing cost control processes and principles at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, TX. This is a
great opportunity for a candidate interested in making a positive impact on the largest construction project currently in Texas.
Trinity Alliance (TA) is the construction manager for the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. TA is a Joint Venture led by
AECOM Hunt and Turner, with BOWA, PMC, EJ Smith, Source, GCC and CORE CMCI as partners. The Associate Partners are
represented by Acari, Mahuya, LeVis, R.M. Chin, Copeland, Othon and STL.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
路 Works with company financial systems and processes.
路 Develops proficiency in the use of company cornerstone systems and provides cost data in formats necessary to control
the project.
路 Understands financial terminology and measures and recognizes the financial impact of various project actions.
路 Assists in analyzing and using financial data to identify key project issues.
路 Able to use drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data
路 Develops knowledge of accounting principles.
路 Assists in assembling data for trending and forecasting.
路 Prepares analysis of progress trends and cost impact. May participate in reviewing and approving contractor invoices.
路 Has knowledge of earned value methodology.
路 Collects and analyzes data on manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations.
路 Collects and analyzes data for tracking actual cost to funding limitations.
路 Assists in tracking purchase orders and subcontract commitments and expenditures.
路 Possesses the knowledge of scope control and change management.
路 Assists with the creation of baseline budgets.
路 Exposure to scheduling process concepts and principles.
路 Exposure to performance management and cost/schedule integration concepts and principles.
路 Supports the project reporting process as required.
路 Participates in project cost review meetings.
路 Gathers data for procedure development.
Minimum Requirements
路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in construction, engineering, architecture, finance, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or
education
路 Four (4) years of experience in a relevant role
Preferred Qualifications
路 OSHA 10-Hour Construction
路 OSHA 30-Hour Construction
路 AACE Certified Cost Professional (CCP)
路 PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
路 Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
路 Ability to prioritize and manage multiple
