LSI Staffing is Hiring: Purchasing Coordinator!
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to manage material procurement for a busy production environment. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure a steady supply of products.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management: Obtain pricing and availability, maintain contact databases, and negotiate contracts or terms.
Order Processing: Process POs and use demand forecasts to ensure materials are ordered accurately and timely.
Logistics & Inventory: Communicate with carriers on deliveries, assist in maintaining inventory, and update the production team.
Financial Support: Work with the AP department to validate and ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
Technical Skills: Must be able to read blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Proven ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Shift & Pay:
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Flexible hours available!).
Pay Rate: $18/hr.
