About the Role:
Join Tuffy Tire & Auto 10014 in Holland, MI as an Automotive Technician, where your skills will help keep our customers stay safe on the road. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance to clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to meet service deadlines and goals.
- Document all services performed and parts used in the repair process.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- ASE certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
