Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about helping others? CareLinc is looking for a Medical Billing Specialist with DME billing experience to support our mission of providing dignity and independence to those we serve.
As a key member of our billing team, you'll manage complex insurance processes, tackle rejections and denials, and ensure accurate and timely billing.
What You’ll Be Doing ️
✔️ Submitting and following up on claims for DME products and services
✔️ Managing rejections and denials—researching, correcting, and resubmitting claims
✔️ Verifying medical necessity, physician orders, and insurance eligibility
✔️ Explaining billing details to patients, families, and payers with empathy
✔️ Keeping up with payer policies and regulatory changes related to DME billing
✔️ Supporting the full revenue cycle to drive clean claim rates and timely payments
What We’re Looking For
Strong working knowledge of DME medical billing
Experience handling billing rejections and appeals
High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in insurance verification and claims processing systems
Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
Preferred: At least 1–2 years of experience in medical billing, especially within a DME or home medical equipment setting.
