Job DetailsJob Location: Grand Rapids MI - Hiring Location - Grand Rapids, MI 49534Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: AnyJob Category: DesignConstruction Estimator We are seeking an experienced construction professional to join our team and play a key role in helping bring projects from initial opportunity to successful execution. Responsibilities:  Put together project estimates, budgets, and project schedules Upfront client communication on potential projects Manage all aspects of putting together a SOQ for a potential project Manage workload and tasks in a deadline driven environment Go to pre-construction meetings, take notes, and ask questions that can be used to develop proposals Remain part of a project during a “hand off” period to an Operations Project Manager, once we get the work Call and solicit proposals from sub-contractors Help build out and streamline our sales processes Research and maintain knowledge of building application methods and materials Manage subcontractor selection Prepare and reviews construction proposals Create construction budgets and schedules Assist in developing and reviewing contract documents Participate in project meetings Understand client needs and requirements Contribute to the Request for Information (RFI) process   Qualifications: High School Diploma At least 5-10 years of relevant experience with managing construction projects from kick off through completion Proficiency with applications like Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams) and other industry specific software Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Must be a team player with strong organizational skills   From our founding, Anchor Construction has been an innovator in project administration and construction management.
