Position Summary:Ā Ā
The Fleet Supervisor leads daily roadsideĀ assistanceĀ and towing operations, partnering with the Operations Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery. This roleĀ is responsible forĀ recruiting, coaching, and developing technicians whileĀ maintainingĀ workforce readiness, fleet quality, and regulatory compliance. The supervisor oversees scheduling, safety initiatives, performance management, and customer issue resolution to support operational and financial goals. Success in this position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:Ā
Tows vehicles,āÆwhen neededāÆĀ
ProvideāÆtraining, support andāÆassistanceāÆto Service Vehicle Operators andāÆAutomotive Service CoordinatorsāÆĀ
Resolve escalated serviceāÆproblemsāÆāÆāÆāÆĀ
Maintain productivity standards for the teamāÆĀ
CoordinateāÆvehicle maintenance, orderāÆsupplies,āÆinventoryāÆand distributeāÆnecessary tools,āÆpartsāÆand suppliesāÆĀ
Maintain facility in a safe,āÆcleanāÆand orderly fashionāÆĀ
Perform administrative duties such as complaint resolution, deposit compilation and reconciliation and researching,āÆcompilingāÆand communicating various reports and informationāÆĀ
Qualifications:Ā
RequiredĀ
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).Ā
Valid state driverās license with an excellent driving record and ability to drive day/night and for extended periods.Ā
Ability to pass andĀ maintainĀ DOT physical certification.Ā
Leadership experience with a proven ability to achieve results through others.Ā
RoadsideĀ assistance, towing, vehicle recovery, and/or minor automotive maintenance experience.Ā
Experience working with stranded motorists, vendors, contractors, and customer service/damage resolution.Ā
Strong safety awareness, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills, including training and presentations.Ā
Ability to prepare cost, expense, and budget reports.Ā
ProficiencyĀ with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), technical/diagnostic tools, and emergency roadside service equipment.Ā
Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond quickly to changing conditions.Ā
Knowledge of towing procedures, budget preparation, and roadsideĀ assistanceĀ operations.Ā
PreferredĀ
College level coursework in Business Administration or a related fieldāÆĀ
PreviousāÆService Technician experienceāÆĀ
Solid mechanical background and understanding of automotive repairāÆĀ
Familiarity with area streets and landmarksāÆĀ
