Kaat’s Culligan is seeking a dynamic, results-driven General Manager to lead our Grand Rapids, Michigan operation. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, and an outstanding customer experience while developing a high-performing team.

Position Overview

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the local business, including sales, service, operations, finance, and team leadership. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of branch operations, including sales, service, delivery, and administration
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and increase market share 
  • Develop, coach, and inspire a high-performing leadership and team
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance against goals
  • Implement company strategies, policies, and operational best practices
  • Monitor KPIs and use data to make informed business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards
  • Build strong relationships within the local community and business partners
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of senior management or general management experience
  • Proven P&L ownership and financial acumen
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Experience in service-based, route-based, or consumer products businesses preferred
  • Ability to drive change, solve problems, and execute strategically
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
