Position Summary
The Graphic Designer is a key position within our Communications and Programming team. This important position supports digital, print, and programming needs for all campuses and central operations. They are charged with visually communicating the heartbeat of Ada Bible Church by directing and creating visual content that connects with the Ada Bible Community while also creating original and inspiring graphic design materials for sermon slides and other printed materials.

Position Responsibilities
Graphic DesignÂ
- Design, develop and finalize graphic assets for ministry initiatives across print and digital mediums in collaboration with the Creative Arts team.Â
- Ensures that all graphic design projects are consistent with Ada Bible Church branding
- Ensures that all graphic design projects are completed within team operating philosophy and budget
- Supports web needs for images, graphics, and elements for all web channels: Websites, App, and Digital Bulletin
- Works with ministry teams to create, develop, and finalize designs for digital, and print projects. This includes; web graphic support, social media graphics, support for teachers (weekend programming); journals, cards, fliers, promotional pieces, Ministry curriculum, stationary, and support items.
- Works with ministry teams to create, develop, and finalize designs for promotional merchandise for events. This includes: T-shirts, lanyards, cards, totes, notepads, etc.
- Supports website (edits, etc.)
 Weekend Media Responsibilities
- Manages the weekend programming graphics process, supporting digital signage, slide visuals, social media graphics, etc.
- Works with weekend teaching pastor to create, edit, and distribute the sermon visuals for weekend services
- Works with Production team to support the final edit and additions or adjustments to sermon slides for weekend services on Saturday evenings prior to the worship service
- Manages/Assembles ProPresenter media for sermons
- Design and support:
- All digital signage needs for campuses
- Digital bulletin graphics
- Service ad slides (online and in person formats)
- Service announcement slides and graphics (online and in person formats)
- Weekend printed signage (Potty Posters)
- Luma templates and other production graphics needs
Qualifications – Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field of study
- 3 years of professional experience as a graphic designer, including digital/web design
- Diverse portfolio of high-quality work in multiple mediums (print, digital, web layout, t-shirt design, etc.)
Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Possesses basic knowledge of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) as well as ProPresenter
- Displays integrity and dependability
- Able to meet the graphic design needs of a diverse 'client base'
- Able to interact with a variety of people in a variety of circumstances, adapting interpersonal style accordinglyÂ
- Able to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Available to work Saturdays, including occasional holidays
Work Environment – Physical Demands
Position functions are performed in a general office setting. Persons in this position:
- Frequently move about the workplace while navigating physical obstacles or barriers
- Frequently sit or stand while operating computers or other office equipment
- Constantly communicate with others to exchange information and promote mutual understanding both in person, online (virtual meetings), texting, and on the telephone.Â
