About the Position
- Opioid Epidemic Response Services Program Coordinator
- Temporary Casual (this position is estimated to work 10-15 hours per week with potential for increased hours based on grant funding and program needs) to last through June 30, 2029. The role's functions will be assessed prior to June 30 to determine continuation of position.
- On-site at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital in Grand Rapids, MN.
Job Summary:
The Opioid Response Services Program Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the Opioid Epidemic Response Services (OERS) grant awarded to Grand Itasca. This position assists with coordination and implementation of grant-related activities focused on workforce development and training in the treatment of opioid-related substance use disorders.

Here's what you'll do when you join us:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for OERS grant operations, including document preparation, correspondence, scanning, filing, and records management.
- Draft, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, tables, graphs, and other program materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and professional quality.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, training sessions, and travel arrangements for grant-related activities.
- Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and presentations (including PowerPoint), and support facilitation logistics.
- Track, organize, and maintain program data; compile statistics and generate reports in spreadsheet, graph, or summary formats to support grant monitoring and reporting requirements.
- Attend grant-related meetings and accurately record, distribute, and archive meeting minutes and supporting documentation.
- Assist in responding to internal and external inquiries related to the OERS program, exercising professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy filing systems in accordance with organizational standards and grant compliance requirements.
- Monitor and document project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to support grant accountability and reporting.
- Manage inventory and procurement of program-related supplies and materials to ensure operational readiness.
If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:
- 3 years of professional administrative assistant experience preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with personal computers and software, including MS Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and navigating the Internet.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintain focus and present a professional image while interacting with others. Must possess a high level of professionalism, flexibility, personal initiative and discretion under pressure.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, coordinate multiple tasks and work with interruption.
- Ability to accurately record meeting minutes
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple customer groups.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission and values.
- Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
$23.67- $33.42 Hourly
