Physician – Psychiatrist, Community Medicine & IDD Clinic Dual Role - Grand Rapids, Michigan

Corewell Health West is seeking a full time psychiatrist for a unique, forward thinking position in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  This position will be 50% within our Community Medicine practice and 50% within our new Intellectual & Developmental Disability practice.  These are well supported practices with exceptional multidisciplinary team members.

Within the Community Medicine Clinic, you'll care for adult patient's behavioral health needs and collaborate with their well-seasoned team of primary care providers. This position will have a high level of multidisciplinary collaboration, including case conferences.

Within the IDD Clinic, you will deliver psychiatric care and consultative support for a patient population aged 16 and older, including both adolescent and adult patients. The position offers a unique opportunity to practice within a multidisciplinary care model that emphasizes whole-person care, care coordination, and behavioral health integration. This IDD portion of the role also includes dedicated huddle and collaboration time.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Comfortable treating populations aged 16 and above
  • Preferred Interest in:
    • Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
