Our job is to make sure that it never changes.  vThe Production Assistant supports day to day roofing operations by coordinating materials, assisting field crews, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring smooth workflow from job start to completion. This role is essential for keeping projects organized, efficient, and aligned with company quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

Project Coordination 

• Assist the production manager with scheduling roofing crews and subcontractors. 

• Assist in other departments as needed. 

• Prepare job packets, permits, and project documentation. 

• Communicate daily with crews to confirm job readiness, timelines, and material needs. 

• Ability to step in and cover other employees during scheduled time off. 

Materials & Logistics 

• Order, track, and organize roofing materials for upcoming jobs. 

• Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and ensure materials arrive on time. 

Field Support 

• Work with Field Support  to verify progress, take photos, and ensure work aligns with project specs. 

• Assist with quality control checks and safety compliance. 

Administrative Duties 

• Update project management systems with notes, photos, and status updates. 

• Assist with customer communication regarding scheduling, project updates, and followups. 

• Help prepare final job documentation. 

Qualifications 

• Experience in roofing, construction, or a related field preferred. 

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 

• Excellent communication skills with both field crews and customers. 

• Comfort using project management software, spreadsheets, and mobile apps.
